24hr Chicken Fun!

Yep - I officially caught the "chicken" bug yesterday - after completing two of the final quests and then dying on the trek to the Trollshaws, I became determined to "beat the cluck" out of those quests today.

Contemplating my inner-chicken... can you guess where?  Comment and maybe you'll win a prize!

As I headed to the Trollshaws (again) as a chicken, I bumped into some bewildered guests at the Bree skirmish camp: Bloodyninja, Brogadall, and Halek.  I peed on BN's shoe.  :)

The Forsaken Inn is in sight!  Safety and a rest!  Half way there...

Beautiful view of Weathertop, from my chicken perspective.

My "hero of the day", JENTY!!!  Bumped into this dwarf wandering the roads of the Lone Lands, and he started to follow me.

All the way into the scary Trollshaws, and across the Bruinen Gorges.   Considering he was only L26, I was quite pleased AND thankful for the company.

Jenty and I contemplate a difficult moment... which of us to sacrifice to the wild cat on the ridge...

"No, Jenty.  You're the one who brought the shield, so you loose the toss.  Go get 'em, Tiger!"

Jenty decides to turn his back on conflict, and enjoys the Trollshaws view with me.

Thankfully a kinmate of mine, Nevwyn (second hero of the day), managed to get to us, and began clearing a path to Rivendell for us!  YAY!

Here Nevwyn demonstrates his epic awesome sauce boar sandwich chop.  I'd swoon, but I'm a chicken.

Roheryn: "Nope, sorry little poultry dude, I'm not gonna help you.  I'm too busy pretending I'm Aragorn's most prized possession.  Yes, I did see Aragorn take Arwen into the bushes earlier... but he'll be back.  They always come back.  Seriously, he will right?  Crap."  All that way and I just get a stubborn horse to talk to?  Sheesh.

Jumped right into my Evendim chicken quest after Trollshaws.  I was determined to finish everything but the final 7 hour "final" session today...  Oooh.  Spiders.  I hate spiders.

Ever seen a chicken swim?  Yep - now you have.  You're welcome!  :D

Decided to take the scenic tour under Kings Crossing.  Quite pretty - and devoid of all danger!

If I just had a boy, girl, paddle and small canoe-like boat, I might have broken into song... the view was that pretty.  I finished the quest a short swim later...

"Those pants are SO clucky!"  I just love pink pants.  Aeowyth wowed my chicken as I headed to the Northdowns for my final "Flying the Coop" quest.

Along the way I posed for photos with my favourite boars... the brass boars of Bree.  I think I peed on his head, too.  Running water will do that to me...

Gyllug celebrates his killing blow on my chicken.  Lifthsala just laughed at him as she knew I'd pulled a "possum".  ;)  Gotta let those little dwarves feel good about themselves now and then, or we'd have a grumpy union on our hands.

Chicken flambe a la Forsaken Inn.  Yep - "BBQ on the mile marker!!!  Get yer nuggets while they're hot!"

Arinphant was contemplating the lack of air in his pants in the middle of Tresslebridge.  I tried to talk him out of jumping, but I had to pee, so I ran on.

Just two boars and a full moon.  Chicken-style!

And a few moments later I found the little Auroch that had my final quest completion conversation.  Another thick animal with no willingness to help our chicken cause against the scourge of the grey squirrels.  :( Sadface.

VOILA!  Here I am as "Sar the Bowchick-en".  My new cape, complete with a white outfit, orange feet (er boots), and a red plume (winged circlet).  I must say, I'm quite pleased with my chicken outfit.  Tomorrow I will attempt the final epic 5-7hour chicken quest that rewards the title...

...and then I probably need to kill some wargs in the Moors.  Never gonna get that R10 cape quest before October 31st, but I'll just pretend it's still a possibility...  I gotta try and do something better than Atador out there, or he teases me. ;)

Love and hugs to all my fellow Dwarrowdelfians,

Sarharien -- Bowchick of Red and Collector of Shoes
Kierraen -- Minstrel of Delightful Octaves of Pain
Niphredila -- Warden of Gleeful Green Giggles
