Farewell to the Fellowship

A shorter day in Middle Earth for me, but filled with enjoyable moments and laughs along the way.  By the way, don't expect fantastic prose from your kin when it's late at night, people are overtired, and you limit them to songs and stories of 20 words or less.  It's just asking for poor grammar and minds in the gutter... ;)

Out questing in Eregion trying to break L50 today, I bumped into Naradore, who helped me kill a boss - then I turned around and helped him with the same quest.  Always great to have people lend a hand to one another.

After a long search and longer wait, I finally tracked down Bill the Pony and escorted him to safety.  Cute horse, but boy does he walk slow and carry a lot of raw meat... he was a warg-magnet.

While heading through Esteldin for some crafting, I bumped into kinmate Beeyoutifull and said hello.  She didn't notice until after I had gone, but commented she was looking for her HIPS button.  Hehehe.

Porting myself to Bree landed me on top of Ilthel who was skipping around me as usual.  His horses should be named Tigger.  ;)  "...backs made out of rubber, and bottoms made out of springs..."

Found a truely AFK victim today in Thorin's Hall - Tyra - and gave her a tickle.  Clearly I enjoyed the experience more than she did...

Ever seen a dwarf swim?  How about one swim in circles?  I have NO idea what was going on under the Rivendell bridge today, but I caught Maaul swimming in circles under the bridge by the stables.  After a few moments he must have noticed me, because he high-tailed it for shore and ran off.  Gotcha!

Started the introduction to Volume II today and was on hand to watch Elrond wish the fellowship well on their journey.

There are SO many things that Turbine gets right in this game... and the NPC dialogues are some of the most entertaining.   Here's the parting conversation between Pippin and Merry as they're heading out from view... and of course it's a conversation about food.  Love it!

While turning in the last of my Anniversary Tokens today in Bree, I ran into Grumpychick who sadly, I really felt compelled not to talk to.  I know it's just a name, but I didn't want to risk a bad mood conversation, ya know?  Shadowpriest was there too, along with Tyra, my tickle victim from earlier.

Partnered up with Merrill out in Eregion to complete a set of 6 mini quests involving a lot of wargs.  Was awesome to burn through these quickly - two minis can have a lot of fun!  Ended up breaking into Level 50 by three bars after handing them all in!  YAY!

Found myself being "fondled" by Illthallion in Esteldin while Nelpherdis looked on.  Such a character, no matter what character he's playing.  I was impressed his horse could stand still long enough to make the picture!

Ended the day crafting myself some new L50 armor and a shield.  So very dissapointed at the crafting crit rates in this game.  78% chance at crit and I failed on 3 of 4 items, instead of the other way around.  Grrr.  But my day brighted as I bumped into Nelpherdis again - love the dress - and found Layzlo trying to be inconspicuous at the mailbox.  ;)
