First, there's this excitable little dwarf in our kin - Kladun - who thinks of himself as quite the mountaineer. He spent a good 10 minutes huffing him up onto the top of this little rock outside the Wailing Hills camp... so I didn't have the heart to tell him he forgot his man-panties under his kilt. >.<
Earlier in the week the kin threw a spontaneous kinhouse party with about 16-20 of us showing up. I think we were supposed to be seeing some new Draigoch housing item, but there was way too much merriment and dancing for anyone to have noticed. :)
Me and Acidor, Beeyoutifull and Lunalleth cut up some pretty nice dance moves!
And then the week's fun really began - running Draigoch trying to get me my special cape (I had found out that I'm the last of the L75s in the kin to get it). So we tried...
...and tried...
...and died (this was an epic one-shot firebreath wipe during one run)... and tried OVER and OVER again. Sadly Draigoch bugged on us three times this week during phase 3. However, through it all the kin remained very optimistic, and had a big "WE CAN DO THIS" attitude all week long - for which I am VERY grateful. Sadly, I had caught a head cold, and after taking some meds on Saturday night, I had to log off after the third bugged failure. BUT my amazing kinmates and friends went back at it A FOURTH TIME - and WON!!! They even emailed me the scales so I could craft my cape! It seems that I had inadvertently turned back on my "auto-attacks" combat option, and was likely the reason we had bugged three times in phase 3 - because I was attacking Draig's feet before the tank had his head agro. >.< /self-inflicted-fishslap-to-the-head for that one. ;)
Today I headed into Lothlorien to take some pictures of my new cape to share with my kinnies - so here's me and Taea and Acidor getting our groove on in Galadriel's Garden... enjoy the slideshow!
(Nice timing dear...)
(I think Acid's sticking out his tongue...)
("Do the Macarena!")
(Getting ready for our big finish...)
Wahoo! Nice cape, eh?
Whew! That kinda tired me out... so we all decided to defy gravity and boost our abs while balancing over the edge of the terrace. :)
Big hugs and thank you to everyone who ran Draigoch with me all week - THANK YOU!!! <3
Love and hugs to all my fellow Dwarrowdelfians,
