Balrogs, Dragons and other Beasts

Today you get a bonus!  A bunch of "lost photos" suddenly found and published!  Isn't summer vacation grand?  I go away for a few weeks, completely loose my mind, return to LOTRO and when I start to do my blog post today, I stumble across all these stored up screenshots.  So here they are for your viewing pleasure...

Isn't Beeyoutifull *hot*?  :D  She made the mistake of going AFK at the 21st mile marker, so I built a campfire on her lap.  :)  She be glowin'!

Magor and my L65 minstrel, Kierraen battle some pink rock beast in the depths of Moria.  We won.

Although you can't tell, I'm doing a wonderful job healing our small fellowship as we battle Rothlug in the Misty Mountains.  It was rather hot up there, but oddly enough, the trees still remained snow-covered...

I joined a PUG group led by Bigdennis to run up the Endless Stairs and help Gandalf battle the Balrog (well, at least that's what we THOUGHT we were doing...)

First we had to battle our way up the stairs through various mobs of trolls, baby dragons, and orcs.

Then, I almost thought I had accidentally loaded my Star Wars DVD into my computer mid-battle... but it was just a cool transition effect of the Balrog fight (because really it's all just happening in our heads - maybe just a way for Gandalf to make us feel needed - LOL).

Dun dun DUN!  We meet he-who-must-be-slain... Mr. Balrog!  Awww... he's kinda cute and little over there...

WHOA, CRAP!  Okay, not small.  Not cute.  Most definately pissed off!

Whose friggin' idea was it to ARM this idiot?!?  (And WHERE was he hiding that thing when we first arrived on the platform?!?)

Here I am getting stomped and trodded on by his fiery feet.  An epic battle and we were doing SO well, until...

"GAME OVER - please insert a coin to continue."  Crap.

And more crap.

And again.  <sigh>  We got really close a number of times, but it was getting on past 2am Pacific Time and our group was clearly overtired, and undernourished.  I had an INCREDIBLE time attempting this instance with BigD's PUG group.  I didn't care that we didn't finish - it was a great group, lots of fun and really a visually entertaining and technical fight.  It's all about the dance, right?  :D

I can't wait for Isengard.  I love riding around vistas and landscapes admiring the beauty of Middle Earth.  I've heard and peeked at a couple things coming - but now I am COMPLETELY ignoring all previews (wanna be an RoI virgin as much as possible) - and I can't wait for the new regions.

Here I am with one of the many GS PUG runs that I join - this time as Sarharien - working on getting back into shape as she'll be the first to tackle the new RoI content on my account.

Getting ready for another Hele run.  Always good for skirmish marks!

I love Halls of Night - especially when the game is kind enough to cloak me in Sar-red.  :D

Millidoc and Jak and I did an evening of HoN runs, so that we could gather up enough tokens and skirmish marks for some of the special loot available.  Personally I went with the "Brawling" ring/bracelet set.  I'm quite pleased to be pushing 6,900 morale unbuffed now.  :D

"Hain, stop checking me out.  I'm trying to take a nap here."  LOL - wearing a pear of red-hot pants can be a little distracting.  It reminds me of Erlilda's painted-on yellow ones (hehe).  This is what happens when you're waiting for your leader to join the instance.  Someone who will remain nameless, did finally show, and we tackled our nightly STM run.

Battling Bregochel elite mob out in Eregion.  I hate this idiot mob.  He's all frosty and all melee thrashing.  Clearly I'm a bit out of practice, and will have to go back and try him again later.

Atador started a spontaneous goat-parade in the 21st hall today.  I think he may have been trying to show off his new deed-goat-of-leetness, but it quickly became 15+ goats all walking around in circles.

Here's about half the group at one point - was very hard to get a complete picture of everyone when the most people had shown up.  I honestly don't have a complete count of how many we had there at the peak of it, but my guess was just about 20.

Finally the goat parade disintegrated into a smelly-goat parking lot (why did the Phoebe song "Smelly Cat" just pop into my head?) and from there, I ported out for another event.

Me and my son, Acidor pose in our new matching outfits.  He's such a handsome boy - makes a mommy proud!

Love and hugs to all my fellow Dwarrowdelfians,

Sarharien -- Bowchick of Red and Collector of Shoes
Kierraen -- Minstrel of Delightful Octaves of Pain
Niphredila -- Warden of Gleeful Green Giggles
