Here I am, fighting side by side with Legolas (/swoon) and Gimli, in Lothlorien. Although, I gotta say, Legolas might be easy on the eyes, but he's a bit thick for an elf... "Their numbers grow fewer" << Seriously? You're going to say that during combat? Ugh.
Yep, you guessed it... Suddenly we get swarmed by another 6 mobs. Well, at least it gave Gimli and Legolas something to count and complain about. :)
Here I am waiting with Legolas and Gimli as we hear the Lord and Lady of Lothlorien address our party.
Yay! Broke into my new Moria gear last Friday. Looks pretty good in blue (my colour for this toon).
I will admit it - I love Grand Stairs. The instance is manageable on a pretty consistent basis for nearly any PUG group, there's lots of choices (daily, full, hard, easy), and the rewards are pretty good for L58-62, not to mention easy marks for Moria gear. I even had one run where we had two teal swords drop at Igash, along with rings and earrings. Here Erinrover, Hirud, Pallasdros, Jacbo and someone whose name got cutoff (sorry!) prepare to battle the first boss. Huge thanks to Jacbo for coming along with our green PUG group to tank.
Finally made it into Mirkwood! Everything is yellow and orange to me at this point, but great XP and loot.
I hate spiders. If they're bigger than a quarter, they need to be squished. When I feel as big as a quarter, maybe its time to RUN. :)
Spent a lot of time this week trying to catch up my epic storyline quests, both in Vol 1 and 2. It's still a mess, but I did manage to slog through most of the Mazog quests. He's such an annoying orc. :P
Been running a lot of Helegrod runs, saving up my marks for a couple minstrel related pieces for when I hit 65, along with building up my pool of skirmish marks so I can afford a pretty pocket item. Stevena, Gilthad, Tharnas, Himdadhorn, Exion, Goldcomb, Remy, Amundsen, Anepicninja, Odhalvun, and Ethas join me on this run.
Got a call from our kin leader to assist with a quest up in Forochel. Kierraen had never been up there (managed to completely skip the zone somehow), so I had to take a ride up and unlock the stable boys.
Captured a gorgeous shot of the northern lights as I went through the pass from Evendim to Forochel.
Yep, that's him. Johnney-on-the-spot, my goofy-but-cute kin leader.
Here Johnney, Acidor and Kierraen battle with some power-hungry slave-to-the-eye guy, who eventually has his but kicked by the old hag in red. Lots of great effects and interactions with melting ice walls. :)
Awww... a cute mother and son moment. Acidor and I pose in our Tawarwaith cosmetics. I finally hit high enough reputation with the Mirkwood elves to be able to grab all the recipies and crit an entire set for myself! :) Then I had Sarharien load it into my shared wardrobe, so Kierraen could wear it. :) Hehe.
Helped some kinnies burn through Grand Stairs - Artfuldodger, Toa, Acidor, Delques, and Orglock all posed for the final kill shot. Leave it to Del to drop and start doing pushups right as I take the photo. :D
Headed back into Helegrod with Etheon, Iriella, Aethelm, Ransser, Stevena, and Exion for more marks and drake droppings.
Out in Mirkwood, I killed a cat. A really big cat. Seriously in need of dental work though...
Kierraen and Beeyoutifull sit down and get comfy while we morbidly enjoy watching Umin meet his demise in the Inn of the Forsaken instance. It's a blast to run through solo or duo at L20, just to grab the marks for the special jewelry, and enjoy all the animations and interactions.
YAY! Kierraen leveled up to 63 on Thursday! Finally after I don't know how long, I managed to get a pretty good screen capture of the beautiful tree that appears above your head when you level up.
Joined Eadalyn, Ian, Megadeath, and Tytuss for more Grand Stairs fun this week.
There was a mess of lotteries right before the end of the month and the start of the European migration. Sarharien managed to score the Cremello Steed from PAX East!
Here Kierraen is joined by Elbow, Pinkfurball, Garing, Bungee, and Adanakhor for a run through Helegrod's Drake Wing.
Well, I learned that Dwarrowdelf is dead on Tuesdays. All day it was a struggle to find PUG groups for content I was trying to run - even in the evening when our PMS Raid Group was supposed to meet, we only had a handful of us online. Here Karianna, Aelnor, Aiseki, and Minniel joined me for a run through GA Fortress.
At the end of our GA run, Aiseki and I pose outside Ost G. in our matching Tawarwaith outfits.
Joined in a Carn Dum PUG group with Ardai, Tolric, Tavomarth, Rimon, and Peanga. Our crazy dwarf tank Rimon must have been on RedBull because he never slowed down. ;)
A last parting shot from Carn Dum - some dragon flew over and tried to poop on me. One day, buddy...
Love and hugs to all my fellow Dwarrowdelfians,
Sarharien -- Bowchick of Red and Collector of Shoes
Kierraen -- Minstrel of Delightful Octaves of Pain
Niphredila -- Warden of Gleeful Green Giggles
