Just Before Isengard

Okay - before I let the cat out of the bag with my Isengard experiences, I figured it was only fair to review the "week before".  I had a lot of fun building up 50 quests "complete and ready to turn in" when RoI launched.  Here's some of my adventures along that journey...

Here I am with my son, Acidor atop some tower in Mirkwood where we just finished taking on the boss of flame and doom (or something).  The sunset and view from up there was incredible!

Here I am with fellow Rengard as we run for our lives out of Angmar after working some quests with our lower level alts.

The dragon awakes!  My warden stumbled upon the great dragon of Helegrod being raised up for nefarious purposes.  More on him later...

This is Kkronos.  He was kind enough to help me out with some crafting and questing, and then took me on a tour of his house in Bree.  We played dress up!

In one PUG group I participated in the Ice Fortress instance.  Here we are killing bears.  I had to bail before I could finish this, so I'll have to come back another time!

A huge group of people got together just before RoI to run and clear ALL the Helegrod wings.  I had never actually done the full clear deeds, so I was grateful to tag along.  Here we are battling the last drake in drake wing...

"Big butts...." a song jumped into my head during this encounter in the Giant wing... all butt.

Here we are battling the last giant boss.  He was quite epic looking!

Then came spider wing... What's that off in the distance I wonder?

Exterminators to the rescue!  I hate bugs.

After clearing all three wings, we were able to "unlock" the final Dragon Wing.  Here we end up battling the crazy dragon that my warden "awoke" during previous epic storyline quests.  He is one seriously mean and nasty dragon (and all the bosses and adds that accompanied him).

Sadly I died part way through when I had the eye on my head, but after a great rez from one of our healers, we were back into the battle and defeated the great dragon!

Turning in the quest in Rivendell had the whole town out to greet us!  Arwen, Bilbo, Gimli... quite a little ceremony they put on for us!

My hero-of-the-day mention goes to Locutuss, who kindly ported to Caras Galadon to buy me some special elf crafting crit items that I needed to make someone a nice Lothlorien minstrel instrument.  Thank you!

"I am NOT bird-brained!  Missey, please recall your pet.  Please... before it craps on my face."  LOL - Missey and I both come out of the vault in 21st hall at the same time, and I became one with her bird.

Don't you hate soggy pants?  On my last day before Isengard launched, I logged back in to Enedwaith, to find myself up to the woohoo in water.  Ugh.  Guess I may as well do laundry while I wait for the patch!

Love and hugs to all my fellow Dwarrowdelfians,

Sarharien -- Bowchick of Red and Collector of Shoes
Kierraen -- Minstrel of Delightful Octaves of Pain
Niphredila -- Warden of Gleeful Green Giggles
